Eastern Condors - Sammo Hung, Yuen Biu, Yuen Kwai, Yuen Wo Ping, Joyce Godenzi, Lam Ching Ying, Dick Wei, Yuen Wah, Yasuaki Kurata, Billy Chow, small appearances by Phillip Ko, Wu Ma, Chin Kar Lok
3/5

A small part of this movie is action that I care about, almost all of it taking place at the end. That scene is the reason to watch this. All the action is typical Sammo stuff, fast and accurate. Wei, Wah, Chow, Biu, Sammo, Godenzi, and Kurata get involved, but Wah and Sammo finish things off with a 1:35 minute finale, which is great, but still too short. Everything else is too short as well. Had the fights been stretched to 3 times their lengths and there been more in the middle/beginning of this movie, I'd give it a 5. Camerawork is completely admirable.

Eat My Dust!!! - Some nerds, Cynthia Lam
0/5

Total garbage. Directed by Phillip Ko. No worthwhile fighting at all. There is hardly any fighting anyways. Lam is aweful and ugly. Ko undercranked her while she walked around to make her look fast or something. Stupid. The end scene is undercranked shooting, and the last guy could have been ok with kicks but was undercranked and the fight lasted 15 seconds. No reason to see this massacre.

Encounter of the Spooky Kind - Sammo Hung, Chung Fa, Lam Ching Ying, Peter Chan Lung
4/5

An interesting ghost-Taoist mysticism movie with some fine martial arts from Sammo and supporting cast. Chung Fa doesn't do much, and neither does Lam Ching Ying. There are only 3 good fights, one of which is at the end and has Sammo doing monkey style. But there still isn't enough to give this a 5.

Enter the Eagles - Shannon Lee, Benny Urquidez, Michael Wong
4/5

Shannon Lee is impressive and fast. Some good fighting, but the last fight is what steals the show. Lee and Urquidez fight with real gusto and it's intense. For a modern movie that's almost all English, it's a really entertaining one. Michael Wong is toneless and uninteresting. What's new.

Enter the Fat Dragon - Sammo Hung, a ton of other well known guys
4/5

This is about the best Bruce impersonation movie you'll ever see. Sammo does it the best, by far. And I know this will bother a lot of people, but I like Sammo's movements more than Bruce's himself. More kicks and punches, better variety of STUFF, Sammo just does more STUFF. I'd watch this over Enter the Dragon any day. Sammo is admirable for being humble to Bruce and in fact, on screen, shooting past him. Still some choreography wasn't long enough for me, and it almost felt TOO MUCH like a Bruce Lee movie for comfort, but nonetheless it's great. Finale against Leung Kar Yan is surprising, completely 2 beat old school.

Extreme Crisis - Cheung Chi Lam, Kenya Sawada
4/5

A very well done shooter film. Chi Lam did his own stunts, which is a very bold effort indeed. That gave me a ton of respect for the guy. He gets thrown against a mirror in a bathroom, does his own falls, and switches cars while speeding along a freeway. The last shootout is good. The movie hit me so hard I had a really scary nightmare that night.
