Stars: Jet Li, Jackie Cheung, Billy Chow Bei Li (to name a few)

Jackie Cheung plans Frankie, a movie star who does his own stunts. However, Li Kit (Li) does some of the stunts for him at times. Li Kit is also an ex cop, who is trying to forget about the family that he lost during his work. Frankie, being a star, is the host of a jewelry showcase, and is a great time for some terrorists to make a small fortune.

I liked this movie. It's slick, fast, and actually pretty funny. Another thing that attracted me was that Jet Li isn't the star, but Cheung is. Actually, the two run parallel the whole time, and the whole thing works very well. Cheung is hilarious. The guy is just funny to look at. His actions are well placed, and he squirms around like a little pansy. Jet Li does his usual. He's fast and gets a few moments here and there to do some acrobatics. Most of it is undercranked, but it's not that bad looking.

Lots of stuff breaks. Lots of guns. Terrorists, hostages, a helicopter, which skids all the way through a skyscraper floor (yea right), and a Mitsubishi inside an elevator. Action all over the place. It really didn't stop. Although I didn't walk away feeling as though I had seen anything new or astonishing, I was entertained the whole time. Cheung even had a somewhat lengthy duel with Billy Chow, lots of it undercranked, and Chow didn't really do anything great except be tough. Plus he had a stupid haircut. Nonetheless, Cheung did some pretty cool stuff, which was probably a double most of the time anyways.

I liked it. 8.5/10.
